I read the whole article and I
still don't believe it--I would have to actually see the guy paint this for me to believe a car can be painted
well with a roller. (Don't trust the internet!)
To the OP--
I did notice that you sanded alot of spots on your car. Not even the best, most experienced painter could blend those spots out--your car needs to be
completely sanded and repainted for the paint to look right no matter what sprayer (or roller) you use. A spot here and there may be blended but not the amount you have. And if you haven't ever used a sprayer (or a roller) on a car, I would seriously suggest you practice on another piece of metal surface first. Like others have suggested, if you're on a hella-tight budget Earl Scheib or Maaco would be the best only after you haven't seriously tried to save money.
