Check Engine
I recently got my intake installed and I am getting the check engine light. I am located in the Chicago area and was wondering if anyone has any input on this. The mechanic installed it for me cause I don't have a garage and it's too cold outside. I went back he hooked it up to the computer and he told me that the sensor isn't used to the airflow on the intake and it is giving a different fuel mixture. It came up as P0171 and P0174 which means either too lean or too much. I think I might have to have it hooked it up to a computer and reconfigure everything in order to make it work properly. They told me that they don't specialize in that and I would have to look elsewhere. I would really appreciate you guys helping me out cause I don't want anything to happen to my engine and car overall. Does anyone know where I can go to get this fixed or what I can do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
