^ when people convert whp to bhp, it's just to make themselves feel better.....the only time you use bhp is when you're explaining to non-car people how much power your car has....
lol
as for the differences in his dyno runs...I was there, and I fully understand it...especially after seeing how my supercharged auto solara ran with cali-spec headers...a rather disappointing, yet fully expected 181whp.
without a full exhaust and upgrades, a non-cali spec would expect at least 190whp, whereas the benchmark for a non-cali-spec car with full exhaust and a tune would expect 200whp.
If the solara was mine, I would have jumped on the jpp groupbuy, but since it's going to my sister's, I'm sure she'd be happy with the 181whp and 200ft/lbs of torque
also on a note that people should realize....with the 1mzfe, when NA, the car should make more torque than hp. BUT when boosted, it should make more hp than torque.
If the car is making more torque than hp when boosted, then there is something wrong and restrictive with the setup, since our cars make hp at higher rpms. case in point- dawgz, case
one must also remember that when it comes to boost, all performance increasing OR decreasing elements are exponential compared to when NA
