:onfire: back in the old days, such a post would warrant at least some flaming...

but i guess since you're relatively new, this might be a useful function:

search.php
l CP-e Intake l TRD Lowered/Exhaust/RSB l 20/5 Tints l Custom Grille l Alpine HU l Rocksford Amp l 2 10" JBL Subs l 6000k HID l Smoked 2.5 Tails l Satisfied Driver l

As a man who has had a half dozen or so catback configs on his car let me help a little. If you are NOT super or turbo charged get 2.5 inch I have tried 3 it is a no go.

Here is the reality for an easy cat back you have 2 choices megan or OBX but you want 2.5 inch piping so you want megan. Now you get to decide do you want a regular muffler or a fart cannon. That is it no one really makes an exhaust for these cars. Personally I think the exhaust I created with a TRD muffler is one of the best sounding exhausts I have ever had / heard and the best part is how quiet it is while cruising. So yea sorry not really much to pick from any more. I made a tutorial on making a custom exhaust try using that.

JP 3 Inch Cat-Back (JP-1MZFEScb) Very expensive 3 inch nice quality

Greddy (http://www.greddy.com)
Greddy Evo 2 Cat-Back 3.0L V6 (GRD-10116601) Discontinued Sounds good has that large fart cannon civic look hard to find.

Apexi (http://www.apexi-usa.com/)

Megan Racing (http://www.meganracing.com)
All Engines 2.5 inch piping
OE performance style non fart cannon ( MR-CBS-TSO99V6OE) Dual tip great sound not too loud 2.5 inch pipe oval muffler decent price
Drift Spec Z N1 style muffler (MR-CBS-TSO99V6DS) Standard angle fart cannon think fast and furious and you too can life you life a 1/4 mile at a time. Sounds good works well decent price

I personally have the Greddy Evo exhaust, and i love the sound of it.
Next i'll be gettin' the OBX headers and y-pipe.
I hope it doesn't kill the nice sound of my Greddy Evo exhaust.....

I have just the TRD Muffler w/Injen CAI at the moment, when i'm just crusing you can barely hear the muffler especially w/the windows rolled up. It's a deep sounding quiet tone that won't give you a headache if ur intrested in something like that. In all honesty I wish was a little louder but you can do what Midas said n build ur own catback w/this muffler if ur intrested in this exhaust.

Hope this helps! :)

Ive been thinking about changing my exhaust again as well. My friend is going to sell me his N1 off his Civic SiR, cause hes going turbo and needs (wants) a 3in back exhaust. and his N1 has a 2.5 inlet, perfect! so im gonna do a cat delete, and 2.5 y-pipe back and as straight as possible with the N1, might throw a resonator in there, not sure!

Its hard to make a dohc sound back :P so what ever we do they all sounds pretty damn good! not like em honda fart cannon's or cherry bombs

You can make them sound bad fast without a resonator at least that is what I learned when I tried no res, 1 louvered, 1 perforated, 2 louvered and 2 perforated.

Oh really? Well thanks for the heads up! I'm more wanting to just make the pipe as straight as possible and minimize bends and increase flow, from ypipe back. Thanks for your info!
