so i did it this morning, trouble i ran into for others who plan on trying...

1) removing the o2 sensor: heated it and it poped right out. I also cut the 02 sensor wires and re-connected them to avoid twisting.

2) removing the muffler from the rubber support mounts was a pain. used a dremel on one of them and the other one with a big sKrewTriver.

3) the gasket that connects to the stock catalytic converter is too big, it is for a 3'' header : it is still on the big gasket but I will eventually get the right gasket... midias already posted sumthing like this..

4) it was my first time in a garage doing work by myself, the old man who used to tune 67 firebirds that laughs at 300 hp civics because his stock car was faster helped me alot.

it was a rent-a-place 15$ an hour and 50 cents per tool u borrow. it cost me a total of 51$ i told him to keep the 60 cuz he helped me.

here is the exhaust before I changed it... it fell of gy itself.. the car is prolly possesed so i used a coat hanger so it didnt hang

Nice man. Thanks for posting this.

So the gasket was too big, but the flange for the cat-back still fit up to the stock flange for the front pipe right?

I understand most of this as:

Here is jack of the river who rode a cbx at 250km/h and was made to stop by the pigs(police)...

but could you give a more exact translation?

LOLLLL yeah ... the popular language here in quebec is pretty perticular, sort of like the southern slang...

a f$%$ nice person from the lower st-lawrence river ( deep deep in the country) who rode a cbx 1000 motorcycle at 250km h and got pulled over by the police. imagine that old guy on a cbx loll

thanks for the tips, there was also an extra hanger on the exhaust but no rubber thingy or other place to mount it on the car. did you buy an extra rubber mount to hang it also or is it fine like that?

and the gains are really noticable, it really pulls after 5k rpm now and no more sudden surge of power... altho i sorta got used to that and i sometimes wonder where it is...

Hey man gotta do what you gotta do haha but yea that o2 sensor is a pain. I didn't have a torch so I just PB blaster and let the car idle for about 10 minutes to break that thing loose. Luckily for me, I had an impact with me so I used it and it came off like a breeze

I should have taken the time to remove carpet... but it was more cost- efficient to just cut it: I pay 15$ hour and rent a garage
