Yeah i get you crisp, this was just for me to be curious. Its not permanent and no i didnt screw it into my dash lol.
I am actually thinking of moving it to the middle for a better look.

I just dont want to keep this gauge forever. I want a TRD or an AEM gauge.

That's logical. I've rigged lots of stuff for "dry runs" or even just to get SOMETHING hooked up in a "pinch"!

I still have that same type of "L-bracket" gauge mount on my steering column in the Supra... but it's an HKS boost guage (OLD style... plain, but works well) and it's pretty "cosmetically challenged" but FUNCTIONAL, and that's what counts most.

If you had SCREWED it into the dash... I'd be the least of your worries... HA HA HA!

crisp hit my thoughts SPOT ON.

I'm just sayin' man...haha
no, but really. It's not that hard to fabricate your own pod somewhere more discreet. a little bondo, primer, and rattle can spray paint goes a long way.

Mounted with just enough clearance to fit into my instrument panel. (angled a few degrees)

Primered, sanded, ready for painting.

the angle is very tilted though.. :/

if you wanna attempt it, head down to your local Home Depot and pic up some PVC piping. bring the gauge with you to ensure fitment. I actually hand to sand down the inside wall of some thick piping to get my TRD gauge in there.

after that, check fitment behind your instrument panel, and secure that PVC with some epoxy glue/JB weld (Walmart). Bondo to fill (Walmart), sand, primer, sand, primer again, fine sand, paint! I recommend a clear coat for protection. my sh*t's peelin' already. ugh

Get special plastic trim paint. I have bought it in black before from pepboys. it is expensive but worth it. The plastic absorbs it and it soaks in I love it.
