No, nobody was familiar with it and wouldn't touch it. The principles are the same but some like what they like ...I guess. :roll:

I guess it depends on your tuner.
It worked fine with this base map. I don't understand how you can only use their box for tuning purposes. If the box is not installed the car will not run, even though the map is mostly zeroed out.
When I called for help on installation they basically said "good luck", we didn't design it for the Camry. :drinking:

The sound is way nicer than the Injen, IMO.

So explain what it actually tunes and I might get rid of my injen for it.. What is it actually changing? I just don't get what it does.. Does it change the timing? What kind of differnce would I see over my injen intake?

This kit is way better than the injen. There's no air/fuel control with the injen.

IMO, this blackbox is better than the SAFC2. Unfortunately, it requires a laptop and many tuners aren't familiar with the platform. I've always had great response with CP-E concerning help.

Also IMO, this intake looks and sounds much better than anything offered for our platform, including the injen + UPFD extension, which I currently have. If I had the money right now, I'd snatch this back up and put the time into making it work with the SAFC2 (I like the real-time display).

The CP-E doesn't work w/o the blackbox b/c it needs a base map to run the larger 3.5" intake. I could never duplicate it on the SAFC2, but I've been told it could be done. CP-E says it would take hours on the dyno, but that may be a marketing ploy.
