i installed a trans cooler as well as an oil cooler on my challenger and i did notice a big difference in engine tem p, also be sure to mount it in a place that doesnt block airflow to the radiator,

i tried 2 different locations until i found good cooling for all coolers, i also made different brackets so i could move it around for max cooling, recently i did have a situation where it was to cool and i used a piece of cardboard to block it off, until it warmed up the out side temp was 28 degrees,

but these coolers do work quite well, i have found alot of different styles at salvage yards ,and actually found a heavy duty unit from a bus and it works rather well!

My RX300 has a factory trans cooler, the part number being 32910-48010, but it's like $500 from the dealer.

Pretty simple, take off the two tubes from the trans cooler lines, install the new ones (use a clamp as well)....run it to the area where u want to install the new cooler, mount the new cooler and connect the lines. Add just a bit of more fluid to compensate and ur good to go.
