Mitsu has quite a few interference motors as well. Most if not all I believe of Honda's engines are.....including my J30A1 :cry: .......and my timing belt is due soon... :x

Interference motors have valves that open into the path of the piston, meaning that if the belt/chain breaks, the pistons hit the open valves.....not each other. :D

All honda after 1989. I think the A20 series were the last of the non-interference.
