Ok, so I got a leaking y pipe and figured Id go with the OBX headers. The good kind that is that is based off the JPP setup. Anyone know of any reputable places to order these from? I knew a few of you on here have ordered them

If you cant tell by the headers, then you can tell by the JPP style ypipe.

Obx headers

Postby cartang » Thu Jul 02, 2009 5:41 pm

EBAY , Tuning Depot Bruno California , Got the OBX headers ( came with Y pipe , non cat converter) .$ 350 + 30 S@H . 5 days. Bolt on good fitment. Mechanic used the stock metal headers gaskets, ( the header brough a fiber glass gasket). It was bolt on to my Greddy cat back. improved sound and response.
He charged me $ 250
-OBX headers labor
-oil change ( labor) + oil Toyota filter
-4 corner brakes labor( Stop evolution Rotors + ceramic brakes) .

Back from the dead. Just got around to finally ordering it. I was wanting to get it thermal coated but who knows how long that will take and not really sure if the gains would be worth it and my y pipe leak is getting worse, so hoping to get these next week and throw em on soon. Tried to call Racing Parts Depot but # is no good, but their store is still up on ebay and mostly positive feedback, so hoping to get em soon

Midas, maybe I used the wrong terminology, but basically its supposed to reduce the heat produced from the headers. Better than header wrap as header wrap will lead to corrosion of headers

Just seeing this link gets my heart racing from excitement. I cant wait to pick my car up from the shop and see how nice these OBX headers and y-pipe perform.
