To sit here and tell me that spacers are not right for MY setup because someone at Discount Tire (lol) told you so is just plain ignorant. Not all of us have pockets full of money to spend on expensive 9.5" wide wheels. I happen to have these Lexus wheels collecting dust in my basement so why not put them on? Some spacers are cheap the ones i am using use ARP studs and i custom made them , they are not cheap or "Sketchy"

Half the people on here that badmouth my setup dont even race!!!!!!!! Its not about looks for me its what works and this new setup is far better than the stock 15" rims

Hey Gabe, do you have the M90 on this setup? Or will the M90 be a part of this setup? :D

I'm pretty ignorant compared to the knowledge you have but common sense tells me to sell the lexus rims and try to get a better setup that fits right from the start (like damon said) even if it means having to add a few more bucks. You know your sh*t but there's no need to be so arrogant/cocky towards others. Everyone's just trying to help. If you disagree, then keep your setup, afterall its your car.

Completely agreed, the arrogance is uncalled for. I would say a person that RUNS a discount tire store and deals with stuff like this ALL day EVERY day is far from ignorant Gabe. Come on, you know I respect your engine building knowledge, but SpeedySolara is right- there is no reason for you to act like you are God's gift to solaraguy.com and treat other members here that are equally as knowledgeable like crap.

Now all of the drama aside, you could easily pick up a set of 5zigen FN01RC or Enkei RPF1 wheels that are track oriented, light weight, and fit perfectly for CHEAP. I'm sorry you're not made of money, but if you can't afford it then maybe you shouldn't play the game.

I was not making suggestions based on looks- I understand that you are trying to make the car perform on the track, and that's sweet. But some chunky 7.5" wide Lexus wheels with 1" spacer/wheel adapters are not really the best thing for that. Obviously it is your call and I could care less what you do, but all I was trying to do was make a constructive comment. I apologize if it offended you.

Yes the M90 is going on this car :)

Not trying to be arrogant just can't stand when people that don't race comment based off what they have read on the internet and not from hands on experience . I race , i have for several years both drag and circle, and i know what works and what doesn't.

Your buddy at Discount Tire is probably right, some spacers suck, but not the ones i had made.

Wait... I have a question.. I thought the LS wheels are already 5x114.3??? I didn't know that lexus used 5x112 lug pattern. Most of the Euro cars used that bolt pattern IE: Merc./ BMW and etc.

If not then I see the reason for running spacers. There are allot of spacers out there.. trust me I've seen bad and good ones. I usaully only trust H&R and Project Kics (which are made by Rays Engineering). I used a 20mm project kics spacer on my xB in the rear for over 2 years and never had problems and I drove the SH*&&T out of my xB. I also at one point used 25mm H&R on my stock solara wheels for a while without problems. You just have to get the right specs, hubcentric and quality parts to pull it off correctly. Greg and Mark can tell you that.

However 7.5" wheels is a little Narrow but it will work with come quality tires that will hold you to the track. Gabe take some pictures of that S/C. I want to see that beast under the hood.

Tracking your car doesn't make you more knowledgeable than everyone else. Anyone who gets their hands dirty in the garage has room to comment here, which I believe is everyone involved in this discussion.
