its find it freakin annoying how i cant find OEM parts for my car

im looking specifically for the rubber molding/weather strip/b pillar whatever you wanna call it that goes around the driver and passenger side windows.

i looked online and theres nothing. i called the dealer but the guy just laughed and told me to bring the car in because he was too stupid to figure out what part i was talking about.

my next option would be to find a parts car and pull it from there. but im not sure how to remove it. it seems to be stuck on my some adhesive but im not sure. does anyone know?

I'm African-American, aka Black. I love the picture, FRESH. The first OEM thing I had to buy for my 2004 was the bulb which lights the passenger side heated seat button from behind, and it had to be ordered (from Japan I suppose). It just made me feel that my car was special, and not the run-of-the-mill parts store variety. Jimmm

If you don't live on the forums some good info can pass you by (the search function here takes skill). But this might help now and in the future...

I took a salvage yard trip today and found one lone Solara. I needed that same piece for mine being that t was a repo and that's the way they got in. I would say just go to a salvage yard for it, they also only charged me 15 bucks for it. I might just go buy that solara because it was a 5-speed and I want that. :o

Hey man! Check out this link...

http://www.mstrecycling.com/

They just received a wrecked solara and had my part for me, they're sending it to me here in Ontario Canada. I agree that parts are very hard to find cause I looked EVERYWHERE for it! :o

Anyway, good luck. Tim
