Custom piping

Custom piping

Postby DiamondPearlSolara01 » Sun May 17, 2009 3:23 pm

Does anyone know how much custom mid-piping would be at a local muffler shop? I'm trying to pick up a trd muffler and was wondering if I could do a straight pipe and bolt it up to that.

Has anyone bolted up the trd/borla exhaust to their stock exhaust system, any sound or performance improvements? -thanks

Sound improvement, most definitely. But in doing custom piping, you're just complicating things by adding that to the equation, since any gains based off just that are slim-to-none. Just bolt the muffler onto the car and call it a day.

Time for a search. Check my sig links and the link below. Custom piping should cost about $100 for nothing but regular piping and about 350 - 400 for stainless with quality resonators.
