Well last night my damn key wouldnt turn... I when I stick it in it wouldnt turn all the way to the right, I could however turn on the radio and I have two other spare keys that didnt work and yes the doors do open when I put the key in. So I guess my ignition cylinder or whatever is broken, so I need to tow my car to a mechanic to get it taken care of. Do you guys know how much it would cost or if there are any solutions to this it would be very helpful. its happened once before but with a little twisting and turning it worked that one time, but now its totally helpless :(

The door's ability to open/close has nothing to do with the ability to turn the cylinder, just the steering wheel lock. Maybe instead of towing it, you can hire a mobile locksmith to see what's going on.

haha im pretty sure its the steering wheel lock... try turning the steering wheel a litle to one side or the other, you should hear a small "tick" and then try your key...

that happened to my girlfriend once

Had my key stuck in my ignition once... Messed with it by yanking on it and turning it all different ways. I couldnt get it and my dad took a pair of needlenose plyers and pulled it straight out. We lubed it up really well and stuck it in over and over again.

Well I took your advice and called up a mobile locksmith *they are not cheap by the way lol..* and he told me since the ignition does turn that it might be some wires loose or something in the shifter since my shifter shakes *for example* when my car is on park I can literally shake the shifter and it wiggles etc. Has this ever happened to anyone? Because now I need to take the car in to the dealer etc :(
