LOST FAITH IN MY LARA

sorry I dont know if i put this in the right form
still a new at this
i dont know much about cars.
So i got my car sacnned and came it out as a cam shaft o2 senor problem so i went to a good auto shop and to get that suker replaced. so i left my car with that day.They called me 2 dayz later saying "their is an unexplainable problem with we need u to come to the shop and we'll tell u wats going on". so i got there and they pop the hood on my car and said "buddy ur car is nothing we've seen before". I think he said my car is missing an o2 senser and has old v6 cables also he said the my cars engine has ben repalced with a four banger meaning my car used to be a v6!! The man told "who ever switchd your engine did a terrible job". so i ask the buddy wat bo u think i shud do to fix my solara he told me "the dealers are the only people u shud be looking at for this problem ( dealers mean major money)

Im thinking...... about trading my her in for a gen 2

wtf that sucks. I have no advice for you there. Other then what you listed what other reasons did he give you for "who ever switched your engine did a terrible job"

the dude took a flash light and told me "take a look my friend count how many wires u see behind the motor" and i count 6!!!!!

the funny thing is my mom gave it to me in a snap of a finger just for a graduation gift. BUt i did hear my mom on the phone talking to a dude related to the car about i want i a four cylinder, a v6 would burn 2 much gas :evil:

Can you send me your VIN number? I can check to see what it is supposed to be. Perhaps you have a 4cyl car that burned the wire harness and some yahoo swapped it with a V6 harness.

I looked up the title with my Autocheck subscription, and the only bad thing was an accident with a parked vehicle: 06/25/2000 FL State Agency LEFT SIDE IMPACT WITH A PARKED VEHICLE.
