I have the 4 cyl. gen 1 solara.. and i was wondering if theres any place to get performance headers or something. Also what could increase performance even a bit, its hard tryin' to find an intake for this one.

Any intake should work with the 5s because it has no MAF. As for headers I would go with OBX for the camry it is really your only choice. They should fit with little to no modification.

Another New Yorker from the island I see.

I got a 5sfe header, the flex pipe needs to be welded. The original owner had the cat cut off because they needed it. I think its the header made by Ripp Mods from back in the day. Let me know if your interested.

The Ripp Mods header is one of the better things out there for the 5S motor.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

A nice exhaust system and short ram/cold air intake would help as well........keep in mind that finding parts for a 4 banger is rare, then again finding parts for a Solara in general is hard enough.

Okay so thanks to everyone's help here at SG
I think I have decided on
OBX intake ( If i can find one? can anyone help finding one that will fit?)
OBX / Forza Exhaust Dual Pipe
& Headers from "1st Gen Sol"


hows that sound to everyone? pretty decent set up ???
and any suggestions to anything else or changes would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think OBX makes a 2.2L intake or any camry / solara intake. I would suggest checking the link I sent you in my first post it lists all avalable intakes.
