keep the lara.. i just sold mine which had 199K miles on it and was still running strong. The only reason i sold it was i have two kids to transport so i bought a used sienna whish runs excellent. Keep the car save the money in case things get worse. if you buy the Harley it will be hard to unload if you need to at these times. If you absolutely need a new car you can get a good used whatever now. You in Cali too! you don't need an SUV

Don't buy the harley. Hell i would rather have a honda cub 50. You should get a bike that wont leak and will keep running for a decent amount of time maybe even have decent power. But on the plus side your 5f will probably out run your harley.

I dont get it. If you are refferring to gas prices, rockin the solara is a no brainer. Still the fx is preeetty sweet, but a harley and the solara seems even more reasonable.
Was the settlement for ur injuries or somn. Thats alot of dough for just the maxima i think :-?

I actually like this idea. Just keep the cash and keep on driving what you're driving.

But if you did have to get something else, +3 on the FX35/FX45. That thing looks pretty agressive for an SUV, and it's pretty nice inside (I valet'ed a few).

To be honest the thing that pisses me off the most about Harley is they are always claiming to be the American icon. But they are under engineered and they always claim things like excessive vibration and poor welds are part of the Harley image. To me it is sad to call that American it is like saying we don't want to put in the effort so all we can do is market an image. Also saying it is the American icon pissed me off because the American icon should be well engineered and well working not an antiquated pile of mediocrity.

I have never actually met a person who bought a Harley other than image or peer pressure but I have met many people who have bought every other brand because of engineering and quality design. Having ridden a few Harley including $30K full dressed 1.8L EFI versions I would rather have my 1982 magna 750 handles better has more power and vibrates a LOT less so better for the long haul.

....lol, sounds fairly american to me....

over-hyped
under-engineered
poor workmanship

hence the reason i generally default to foreign cars

Dude Just put some $$$$ into your Lara and drive it till the wheels fall off. All you need is a new paint job and trim. We can lower that thing and you'll be set bro.
