this chip was sold to me for 100.00 witch was a discount when i bought my injen sri.i used it for about 3000 miles and it mad a very noticable improvement tghe reason im not using it is it is adjustable with a dial on itfor either more milage or more horse power and i couldnt keep it off the more power setting and then i would feel guilty for using more gas then i had to.here is a link that has one for sale but they must have used a generic pic because they dont look like that.it installs inline with your IAT sensor and modifies the signal to the cpu.does not work with supercharged or turbo engins.if you have a stock setup or just an intake you will love this chip it is designed to work with the 1mzfe engine. PM me if interested

theres a lot of speculation that these things don't really work. I personally haven't tried one so Im not gonna "flame" you, but they are generally refered to as "ricer" mods. In theory they would work, but then again, In 1955 it was "in theory" that cars would fly by 1985. and yes that was a BTTF reference lol

Performance Chips are as important to your vehicles performance as windshield wiper LED lights.

I didnt realize there was so much contraversy arround these chips i only have my testamonial as to how well this thing works it made everything run alot smoother and added alot of get up and go i guess for you supertuners out there this probably isnt for you but someone running a stock system this will deffinetley improve the way your car drives.the wires to the iat do have to be cut but if anyone is going to the so cal meet ill let you try it out before you buy it it only takes 5 mineuts to install and ill bring all the connectors to hook it up and to return it back to stock

nah if u do research.. youll see that the majority of these "chips" are a joke. Although there are a few out there that are legit. I know for my friends GTI, it upped the boost and whatever else...
I just dont know what this chip would honestly do for our cars.

that "performance" u feel is a placebo effect. all that (5 cent resistor from radioshack) that u baught for 100 is doing is messing with ur MAF...prob running u real lean too.

No he has a 40 cent potentiometer. All it is doing is changing the temp reading for the car so it advances the timing but I am fairly sure toyota ignores static readings on the IAT and the computer just uses preprogrammed values making the chip nothing more than dead weight.

well you guys are sceptical and i was to until i tried it.the chip that i have in now bumped me up from 27 miles per gallon highway to now just over 35 and this was a scientific approach i have tested it over and over I drive to barstow and back every other weekend so i have had plenty of highway time to test it.and i have a diagnostic tool that gives me live readings so i know i am exact
