umm... i think you're all confused here. All the kits work the same way, when u put on the high beam, it will automaticly turn off the low beam and the fog lights...

If your objective is to have hi and low beam on at the same time (which will cause your ears to ring due to all the insults you will be getting from other drivers), there is a tutorial in the tutorial section that will allow you to do so.

D-money wrote:that would be a good reason why it is not doing what i want it to do.since that is the case can i use either high or low output to power the unit .also can i modify it so both out puts trigger the relay or will it damage something if i touch the two power wires together i dont care if it gets brighter or not cause these things are freakin bright

Do not connect the two power wires together.

umm I'm not confused... i know exactly what happens when u buy a HID kit for H4 and the bulb has only a Low Beam function because a friend of mine bought one for his Civic and thats what happened... Low beam but no highs. You might be confused b/c i have never seen a tutorial to run Highs and Lows but i have seen tutorials to run Headlights and Fogs...

As for the OP... if u want High and Low or just want the light to work when u switch on to high, U need new bulbs with High and Low... don't splice sh!t because when u realize that u are gonna get actual HID bulbs with high/lo then u gotta fix it back to how it was supposed to be in the first place... don't make a simple problem turn into a complicated one in the future.
