^When installing/uninstalling, did you disconnect the battery? Doing so resets the ECU, which is necessary.

x2 x2 x2

i'm surprised i made it to the bottom of the page and finally saw goldnwhite suggest getting the code to figure out what it is.

edit: my advice is pertinent to the v6, not the i4. sorry.

check the code and see if it helps find the cause of the problem.

well, i brought it to auto zone and it came up with no codes.. i disconnected the battery yesterday though it see if it would come back on.

it is still running weird with the stock intake back on

when i come to a stop my rpms drop and then shoot back up and then gradually go back down.. and it idles higher than usual around 1,00- 1,100 rpm

Do you have to take off the coolant lines for the IAC when you install an intake on the 4cyl? An air bubble in there would cause that. Also maybe damaging the wires or connector would cause that. I am guessing it s similar to the V6 and on the bottom of the throttle body.

yeah, sorry, i meant take her to autozone to pull the codes when the CEL is ON.

if you clear the codes, then there's nothing in the memory to read.

and this problem of yours with RPMs dropping and shooting back up, does that happen all the time, when your car is cold, or occassionally? currently, there's another discussion going on regarding a similar issue as this (TPS or torque converter or....? authored by jhall).

I had the same problem. Make sure you plugged in your o2 sensor! make sure like3 times because thats what it is almost guaranteed. Also you need to reset your battery and hopefully you unhooked your battery while installing it.
