800 smackers??
Like everyone said no caps-lock man.
If it studders and you have a CEL take it to AutoZone and get the code pulled.
Some problems take common sense to solve them, and you don't have to ask everytime you have a problem.

I wanted to ask if you've found the issue to the studdering problem with your Solara? Mine has the same problem and I've changed the plugs, wires, cleaned the injectors and even went to the dealership. My CEL has not come on during any of this, and of couse without a code they couldn't do anyhting.
The timing belt and water pump was replaced about 6 months ago.

you could be seeing a problem from 2 likely sources. 1 - it is related to a tune-up or air/fuel problem. these are likely caused by the MAF or needing to have the intake/throttle body cleaned, which includes cleaning the EGR (see this is where that Haynes manual comes into play). It could also be lose bolts on the intake manifold itself, but you would usually see a code here. 2- this is a transmission problem and is likely a source of old/bad fluid or in the AT needing some filter cleaning.

There is alot of maintenance that not everyone does that is preventative of things like this.

:: on a side note at worst it could be traced to your powersteering system or a transmission malfunction, but again more info is needed and sometimes even dealerships need to get the right mechanic on the car to trace a problem (a good dealership can do this).

Thanks for the info.

Let me expand a little more on the issue that I'm having as this only happens when the car is cold. When starting and idle is at 1200-1300 and place the car is R or D it feels like it's misfiring. This is all happening when sitting still. Once the car is warm and idle at 750, no problems. This is why I'm not thinking the AT, but what do I know.
The throttle body has been cleaned also.

Maybe I missed it but have you cleaned the MAF? Also check the coils for cracking where moisture cold get in.

I will clean the MAF today after I get the MAF spray. So bascially I just remove it, spray it, let it dry and reinstall?
The coils look good, no cracks. If a coil is bad wouldn't it cause the CEL to light? Or can one be going and just not tripping the CEL?

Yup just spray let dry and reinstall. Maybe spray and dry twice who knows. As for the coils I have seen some bad coils in my time and still not had a CEL come on with a variety of cars so I would probably measure the resistance as per the haynes manual and check them. Finally when I had some serious misfire problems on my solara one of the screw on ends of a spark plug had backed it's self off and I was not getting good contact between the plug and the wire that may be something you want to check.

Well I cleaned the MAF...no luck.
I'll pull each plug out again and check the screw ends of the plugs, may go get the AT filter and fluid changed again.
I'm about ready to give up and get ride of it!! Not sure what could have happened and without a CEL it's harder to find the issue. This is why I've come here. I've searched all over for a simular issue and found a few, but no one has ever said what they found.

I hate to say it but you just need to find a good dealership that is corporate run, and make them find the problem. If anyone should be able to find the problem (cringing) it should be a dealership. After all they do sell the damn thing... just don't forget to tell them that the diagnostic fee goes to fixing it. I mean they do want your money and diagnostic fees can be small change to what might be wrong.

Thanks for your help...The problem has finally been discovered by the 3rd dealership that I went to. I finally found someone that would listen and try to swapout the coil packs one by one and discovered that coil pack #2 was bad.
No CEL ever was displayed and the previous dealerships would not go beyond just looking for a code.
Well anyway she is finally running like she should.
