I say just stick with Toyota ones. I know from experience that KYB units get noisy over time and most reviews I've seen have commented the same.

The nice thing about the Monroe combo I bout at advance is they have a life time warranty so free replacement on the strut, spring and mount combo if one goes bad.

Sorry to threadjack, but should the mounts be changed front and rear when the struts and springs are replaced? I'm still like a 4x4 right now but I'll be lowering soon and I'd like to know.

Well I know money can be tight but installing the rears is a pain in the ass so I would defiantly install new mounts in the rear but the front is easy so up to you.

The struts I purchased were 188 each and were for a 98 Camry 4cyl. I think the v6 ones are different but they do fit the 99-03 Solara 4cyl and 97-01 Camry 4cyl. The wife instantly noticed the difference and said her car felt brand new and then I got a blow job. That is how good these struts are.

Part Number: 171680 Right Rear

Part Number: 171681 Left Rear

They came fully assembled no core

Just like the picture

They did not list the Solara V6 but the 97-01 Camry V6 are as follows and should be a direct drop in and also come with a life time warranty.

Part Number: 271680 Right Rear

Part Number: 271681 Left Rear
