That smell is what we at dealers call "new car smell" its just oils/water/other junk burning off of the new metal/ powder coating (I'm assuming you mean outside the vehicle) should go away after about 1500 miles depends how long of drives you take it on.

I was hoping that was it. The smell outside was strong, and I could only faintly smell it inside the car when stopped at lights or parked. Thanks.

There is definately an increase...how much will have to wait for a dyno.

Just took 2 short vids behind the 'ol Walmart. Snow sucks! I'll take a fly by once the roads clear up.

Awesome setup G...add a resonator and it will be purrfect. Sets you back a few bucks but I'm pretty sure its worth it.

A little bit offtopic, but I noticed the catalytic converter. With that setup, you remove two header cats, right? Will that pass emissions in WI?

I ask because here in PR I passed emissions on my 94 Ford Taurus in from 2003-2005 without the header cat. Cats were done for and instead of getting two, he only installed one. With this I wonder if I add headers here will my car pass emissions.

Love the sound. Are you enjoying it? How much cabin noise did you gain?

I have no clue as to wether or not it will pass. All I can hope for is that Toyota was going for clean air overkill and that JPP would produce a product that would pass CA emissions. And if they pass CA they certainly will pass WI. When the time comes I will give a heads up!

The cabin noise is substantially louder. But I also thought the TRD exhaust on stock everything else was loud too. I guess it is all relative seeing as how my first ride was a '94 Grand Marquis. I am loving it but if I run into problems with the popo I will have my resonator put back on. Most of the cabin noise happens between 1700-2300 RPM. When I coast or sit in neutral I can't even tell she's running.

All in all... its comparable to a v8 with a borla.

Sounds real good but a little raspy I would defiantly add a nice perforated resonator.

As long as you are not getting any codes. They just plug into your OBDII.

Speaking fo codes...I just threw two: P0420 and P0430 _ Bank 1 and 2 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold.

I have two e-mails out to URD and Jose to see their take on a possible solution. I can only imagine this is from an increased air flow throwing the o2 sensors off. Reading online I have found some people saying new cats need to be broken in by taking a long high speed drive. Is this possible or just bs?

Any input would be greatly appreciated! I will post up my findings/resolutions.

My guess would be that you will need to run a O2 sim. after the cat.

Do the antifowler mod the worst thing that happens is you waste 5 dollars and it does not work. I know I posted a tutorial somewhere when I first discovered it and brought it to the board.
