Step 1. Cover alternator and coil packs with bags.
Step 2. Spray on simple green.
Step 3. Go get hose.
Step 4. go back turn on water.
Step 5. Hose off.


The extra trips for hose and water give it enough time to dissolve the stuff on the engine for the water to do the rest.
