I have a 01 solara v6 sle couple

I want a exhaust that will not whine, will not be super loud, and will not bring down gas mileage at all.

i just want something that makes it sound cool and maybe helps gas mileage.

something low calm. but smooth.

First of all, combine your questions into one thread, to save bandwith. (Welcome BTW) and to answer your question, well....You want something that sounds nice? I like the way the TRD muffler sounds. As for MPG's....That comes with increased flow. The way to achieve that is by getting a new system (catback) The stock y-pipe is good, but its extremly restrictive, and full of bends. Dats ypipe is a straight flow through design, thus much more effiencent with more power to back it up. Long tube headers if you can find a set would be a worth while upgrade, Each cylinder having its own tube is much more efficient that having an inlet from each cylinder collect in a single tube and run down to the "collector" To sum it all up, The less restrictive the better the engine breathes. The better the engine breaths, the easier it can do its job, thus equaling better mileage, and some sound too of course.

Hope I could be of help.

Right here megan racing dual resonator stainless OE style performance catback. Slightly louder than stock good flow and best of all no fart cannon keep it classy out there. Otherwise you can go greddy but it is discontinued or apexi also discontinued. JIC still makes one but it is fairly loud. If only someone put together a list and made it a sticky in the aftermarket section.

Megan Racing OE-RS series cat backs are based on factory style, with bigger piping, OEM style polished mufflers and quiet sound. The cat back system is made stainless steel. All pipiing are mandrel bent with a high polished finish. Exhaust system comes with all the necessary hardware needed for a direct bolt on installation. Improves HP with minimal noise.

i had the jic and it wasnt so loud without jpp headers, if it was just straight catback it wasnt too loud. Also, it came with a nifty silencer.
