HI, I can't find Solara V4 Battery at Costco. can i use V6 battery instead?

Welcome... I don't think there's a difference in the battery between the two engines. Also, the 4 cylinder (5S-FE and 2AZ-FE) engines are I4 not V4. ;) Just a heads up!

The letter shows how the engine's designed... our 4cyl engines have 4 cylinders in a row, hence I4. The V6 has 3 cylinders in two rows and when you look at it from the side, it looks like a V, hence V6. Four cylinders in two rows in a V means a V8. There's also W16 which is basically 2 V8s bolted together.

Hope this made things a bit clearer for you. :)

A V4 engine. :P I didn't say they didn't exist, just that there were none made for the Solara! :)
