New Solara

Postby Skew » Sun Oct 05, 2008 6:53 pm

Hello, I just bought a silver 1999 Solara SLE. Im looking to do quite a few things with it including 17 or 18'' wheels, a badgeless grille, body kit, a new exhaust, etc.

Do you guys have any suggestions on what I should buy, and what price ranges im looking at? Iv seen the photos of some of your cars, and I think i made a good choice in buying this car.

I appreciate any suggestions.

Start by reading the stickies in the aftermarket upgrades forum.

I like this one for some reason.

Welcome bro. Good luck with your mods. They're not cheap. The rims are all you. That emblem-less grille aka Renova grille is kinda tough to find, but not impossible. I just made my own lol. That lip kit will probably run you around $700 to $1000 in the color you need it. A lot of guys on here put things up for sale pretty often. Post up some pics of your ride when you get the chance. :)

welcome to sg.

check out the link that midias posted, and you'll find the answers you are looking for

my suggestion, go for style over speed. with an SLE you can get it looking clean, relatively easy (wheels, suspension, tint, stereo, exhaust), and then work on performance afterwards.

Nice de-badge, but lose the 'lara and the sticker...not for political reasons but to make it cleaner!
