i haven't seen many set ups with any kind of ignition amplifier or timing controller? Except for plugs, wires, and the plasmabooster.....

i just read this

http://www.solaraguy.com/viewtopic.php? ... hlight=msd

so fuel is gonna be enough for 7 psi on a decent sized turbo???? sigh...the headaches that come with modding :D Im not looking to blow you sc'ed guys out the water.....or am I.... j/k but seriously, i'm plannin on roughly the same amount of hp some of you guys are making and i'm comparing set ups to what i have in mind. They're very similiar, despite me taking a different route, but a friend of mine brought that up to me

ur stock fuel supply will not be enough for any sort of boosting modification.

Ull need to upgrade the pump to a walbro 190lph...possibly 255lph if u plan to be a big whp number guy.

also, injectors.

from what i've read over the years ignition amplifiers usually don't add (much) hp, it just ensures a more complete burn. I wonder if anyone has done anything as far as retarding timing, or if its even necessary at the power levels they're at

I can tell you after playing with an OBD 2 scanner and watching my timing with the plasma booster my car was much more willing to advance timing on at the higher RPMS than without.

Always good to know... Good ignition can help prevent detonation.
