I'm serious, I'm just still in the search for Fed-spec manifolds here in Southern California.

ok, well i personally agree with whoever said to get the y-pipe now, even if the fed-spec headers arent around .... this is a very rare peice, which doesn't turn up for-sale (used), very often.

hopefully we're not too late to get this in as a certainty.

I'd say just get the OBX headers. Better design and Fed spac at the same time.

Can you give us a link? I thought OBX only made it for the 4 cylinder

Oi! If any of you guys getting Y-pipes want to offset the cost of the new y-pipe purchase by selling me your stock one (I need the primary cat in it), I'd love to take it off your hands.

The lower the mileage the better, of course.. Check out the link in my siggy for full details. :)

Try http://www.car-part.com and call some junkyards. Most are happy to ship you stuff like that. Manifolds aren't big sale items, usually...

Also, pre-99 cars seem to have catless exhaust manifolds (such as the '98 Avalon I came across in a yard, not too long ago.)

Group buy is still up. I am still holding it out as long as I can. He has not made up his mind to throw it away yet since nothing new in demand is in yet for other cars.

cant you just do a quote on UPS.com or something? It would at least give you an idea of what a ballpark cost would be...
