my friend brough in his OBDII this morning, six codes were stored :o
2 of them were p0441
3 were p0440
and one was p0446

i searched and googled it, i know its related to the charcoal canister and evaporation control, but i was wondering if anyone had any more specific insight into the problem..

Well p0446 tends to be the canister or the valve on top of it. p0441 is often the gas cap and p0440 usually has to do with the entire system vacuum lines and all so I guess you have a lot of things to check out. I would start with the vacuum lines.

i had the 441 and 446 codes... These 2 codes are related. the mechanic told me to fill my tank with supreme gas twice (94 octan) to clean it up and if it doesnt go then come back...
I did that and the check engine went awayafter my tank way half full. It came back after a couple of month and i did the same thing and it went away... since then when i close my gas cap i turn it like 2 rotations after it starts ticking to make sure its completely closed

good luck
