So...today I noticed a nice clicking from the rear when going over bumps. Got home and peeked under the car. The upper bolt head on the rsb mounting bracket was missing. Upon closer inspection I saw the bolt had snapped in half. Has anyone had this happen and was this more than likely a case of over-tightening the bolt?

Yep...I would say the torque spec wasn't respected there my friend. It sucks. I hope you will have not too much difficulties to un-bolt the reamining bolt half.

Isn't that the second sheared RSB bolt for SG in a week? Watch out guys... these things come in threes.

Teflon paste worked for 1.5 yrs no squeaks through NYS salt and snow from 5-100 degrees F.

Get it in the plumbing section of home depot.

I picked up a small can of Mobil 1 synthetic grease from Autozone that'll probably last longer than the car
