Well before you get all excited about how you are going to have the most bad ass spark plugs lets think about how the test was performed. They ran the car 3 times changed spark plugs, ran it 3 more times, changed spark plugs, etc... How long does it take to change a full set of spark plugs and dyno a car 3 different times? Multiply that number by 7 for how many tests they did. How much do you think the weather (temp and humidity which can and do play a role in dyno numbers) changes in that amount of time. Also think about the engine temperature. Then on top of all of that, what is the actual tolerance of the dyno between runs?
On the first set of runs in HP there was a 3.03% difference between the best and worst runs. so, hell lets just say there is a 3.03% error margin in the dyno. Between the best and worst overall HP numbers, there is only a 3.52% change. Well that is only .49% over the margin on error. Then add in all of the other factors like weather and engine temperature. Can spark plugs improve your performance? Yes, but only if the ones you have now aren't doing their job correctly, which is to burn all of the gas in the chamber at a designated time. For my V6, it would cost $150 for those plugs which may improve my performance by .49%... I think you might want to rethink those plugs.
