yeah. it isn't always white, yours may or may not be. Mine is black and like jeff said it is right below the front header on your engine. It screws right on to the engine block, just give it a tug and turn to make sure it is on tight. Take a shop towel and wipe down the headers, top and bottom, oil filter and around oil filter. Not sure but you may want to check the seal of the oil filter. Some times when you change oil, the O ring from the old filter sticks to the block, when the new and old gasket are pushed together they don't make as tight of a seal as a single gasket does. So if you can check that could be it, but I would save that as a last resort, because you may or may not have to change/add oil depending on how much pours out when you remove oil filter.
