Broke a plastic part

When I changed my oil yesterday, I found a vacuum tube that was split at the connector. So I cut the split part off and hook it back up. I figure if I found one tube split at the connection, I might find more... I did. There was one connected to:

That part is under the cover on the top of the engine, and right above the fuel rail. Now as you can see there is a toothpick in one of the connections. Well, I guess I was trying to hard to get the vacuum tube back on and SNAP! I called toyota here in town... closed at noon on saturdays and I called at 1:30pm. So I used some gorilla glue as a TEMP fix for now. The toothpick is to keep it straight and also keep the glue from expanding inside, clogging it up.

Right now, I want to punch-a-size someones face... FOR FREE!

The glue can handle temps from 40ºF to 140ºF. Does anyone know how hot it will get around the fuel rail?

fuel rail does not get hot for obvious reasons.....so it shouldnt be a problem.

Thanks... but my plan failed. The nipple broke again while putting on the rubber tube. I figured since it was split before, it wouldn't run much different. I was right, it didn't. But monday I will goto toyota and get the part. Hopefully they have it on hand.
