Mine as well update on these.

The hids are still good. They are bright and i still love how they look.

What sucks is that the kit come with a normal halogen bulb that is used for highbeam. This bulb has a tint of blue so when the hid is on the tint of blue shows a bit. very little tho.

From time to time the hid would flicker a slight bit. this happens like very little. Not noticable unless you stand and stare at your light for a long aass time. not a big deal but thought i would state it.

Sometimes when the car have not charged the ballast fully (like when you first start up the car and fire the lights) only one side is on. but when u turn it off and on again it would be lit. Im sure this happens to many kits. THis happend like only twice since i had the kit, so its not an issue.

ALL and All, i like this kit, i like the price and i have bought another set for my dads 4runner and i am very please of how its working.

Nice man
for ebay HID it doesnt look bad at all
keep us up to date on those
perhaps some of us been spending too much money on HID :o

I rather like that slight blue tint in the light, the actual light pattern seems pretty white though.

^ no they don't- the DRLs flicker then

and I have the problem with the igniter too, but a quick flick of the highbeams (which turns off the lowbeams) makes them ignite

I'm wondering if it's a wattage issue since I have mine (or should I say, my sister's) hooked up straight into the stock harness. a relay and a direct hookup to the battery may stop the problem.

On that note, one of the ballasts on my H4 kit started to really go wack and only ignites about 1/10 times almost, so I took it off and now I'm looking into the warrantee thing.

At the moment, despite the price, I have to say that I would rather recommend other ebay sellers of hid kits. I have bought 3 other kits from other sellers, none with the same problem, and only for about $10 cheaper per kit

Seller ID: mydepots has hid kits for 69.99 shipped. I have them for my foggies and they look great. No problems so far, also comes with 14 months warranty. They use actual hid bulbs too, not halogen.
