so I got the code last night P0171 my smog said I'm running too rich but this damn code says I'm running Lean now what!

I may be wrong but your O2 sensor could be stuck low or near low causing your computer to think it is running lean.

Happened on my friends turbo teg.

Yeah definitely try blasting your MAF with electronics cleaner.

The sensor will fail saying lean on the error code but your car will run rich in safety mode.

I have the dyno sheets to prove that.

yea the error code was lean but when they did the smog check it was running rich
