If you're talking about the Gen 2 V6, then obviously there is no S/C available, but the tunable one has a serial port on the side and comes with a cable and software you can run on your PC to totally fukkup your ride with!

If you have no intentions of ever doing this, or have a speed/tune shop do it later, then go with the standard non-tunable version.

you splice wires into your ecu. Standard aftermarket intakes are 2.75" while the CPE is 3.5". The 'black box' adapts your ECU so it can handle the bigger intake, its worth it!

CPE is well worth it I love mine. My only regret is NOT getting tunable I know it is an extra 100 dollars but go for it or you will kick your self when it cost 150 to upgrade later. Also check my sig for some important CPE info.

Yes you will and I think the gen 1 even gained more. Trust me this is a great system.

Just a tiny 1-2 whp is from the intake, the tuning chip does the rest. Leans out the stock air/fuel map = more power and better mpg.

PS: Jeff... I can't WAIT to phuck it up with the serial cable option... which, of COURSE, I bought UP FRONT!

Installed at 50k... into 75k now and RIPPING up the streets... 8)

If you will be stock (no major performance mods) you'll not need the tuneable part. I've the tuneable and I tried some different mapping. Bottom line, it already comes with the optimum mapping.

To tune it, you have to plug the black box to a laptop, then use the CPE software. It is a Excel like sheet with RPM on vertical axis and throttle volts on horizontal axis (the scale is 0 to 5 volts refering to the throttle demand). The numbers you put in those cells are the % of volts change you want to send to the ECU. Starting with the fact the AFR are lean at low demand and rich at high demand, you tune the map this way.
