Re-Flash/Re-Map Questions

I am in the process of installing my CP-E Intake, JPP Headers w/Y-Pipe, & Custom 2.5" Catless Piping W/Magnaflow Muffler. Now my question is, and especially for the guys with similar set up as mine, who does your ECU Remapping/Re-Flashing?

most people run the SAFC and have the car dyno tuned by a shop that does dyno tuning.

I would think that it is necessary to reflash/remap the ecu of a car once you've upgraded to a higher flowing intake and exhaust. I've done it on my WRX and Im going to do it on my MK3 Supra...so that's it, just the Apexi S-AFC....& no my Solara is not sc'd...

The remapping is done by either your tunable CP.e or by an Apexi.
Got Boost?? :sweet:

Sorry no one does this for our ecu. I would just do a SAFC or some fuel tuner rather spending almost a grand for an ECU that will have to detune again if you decide to upgrade or downgrade.

Jet will reflash your ecu

Here is a testimonial from a Solara owner and board member.

"Just wanted to let you know I reinstalled my ECU after you returned it to me after the upgrade. Couple of things I'd like to say to any potential customers.

You returned my ECU within 24 business day hours as promised. My wife was even surprised.

1. The car started and idled like a charm.
I took it out for a short run just to check for ignition problems. It was smooth as a babies ***!!
2.
OK, I decided after about a 15 minute easy roll to punch.
3.
From a stand still in drive (automatic transmission) I can not launch without lighting the tires to a stand still if I floor it.
4.
From 5 to 25 MPH the car will burn the tires with unbelievable torque.
5.

The car shifts up and down with authority. I's swear I was driving a 8 cylinder. No doubt your ECU upgrade has been the best investment I made since adding the TRD Supercharger.

Finally, thanks for everything and you got another satisfied customer."

The list goes on but that's enough for this letter
