so is this acceptable?

cut the green wire with silver stripe, shave some plastic and twist green wire together with red power wire, solder; then wrap heavily with electric tape?

place ground wire under the nut behind the gauges?

is that acceptable? thanks!

This is acceptable. Good luck

Electrical tape will be fine until it falls off the wire shorts and your entire electrical system goes up in smoke.

well I finally got them installed :) i couldn't of have done it without you :)

what i did was actually quite simple, I cut the green wire with silver stripes, I tied all three together (I tried soldering but I'm bad at that..) and I grounded the black wire behind the gauge case (there's a screw that says ground and i simply attached that to it because the wire was to short to reach the nut behind the gauge case.

So it works now :) thanks solaraguys!!!!!
