Would anybody for any chance know if a OEM 2006 Camry alternator with a 3mz-fe 4 Cyl. engine fit a 2000 Gen 1 6 cyl.? :-?

I am not sure about the 3mz but if you are looking for more power you can get a nice one that is a direct bolt on from a Toyota highlander.

Nice catch, haha.

3.0 Highlander direct bolt-on FTW. It's the recommended way, unless you get yours upgraded, which would cost about the same.

80A stock
100A and 130A available from the Highlander 01-03 3.0 1MZ

PM if you want a price :D
1GR-FE ftw!

The new camry ( 07-08 ) are using the 3.5L 2GR-FE engine (Avalon/Camry/Highlander 08, etc).
1GR-FE ftw!
