A little cutting of metal......I think 3.5" would be a bit difficult. You'll definately have to move the fuse box.
3" CAE piping after Supra MAF.

Okay, seems this topic has sprung some debate on the matter.

But new question...should we take out that muffler type piece that on Astros picture (that was also connected to the 'big white box' resonator) was removed to allow more airflow or not? If so how do we remove it.

Mine is out because I had a cai before. For new owners up to you I doubt it makes a difference.

I don't know what muffler piece your talking about. But the white piece comes out from the fender. I removed the wheel loosen the heat sheild and removed the two bolts holding it in.. and it doesn't make a difference in removing the white box. That box is a pressure box for the stock intake. and has no air holes in it
