Because the question has allready been asked many dozens of times and a quick search can answer your question without you having to ask it again and acting like a trolling noob.

^^ The OE muffler is made of high quality AISI409 and AISI439 stainless steels. It should almost last the life of the car.

Just bustin' your chops. The TRD muffler is made from AISI304 stainless which is polished. It looks nice but I wouldn't buy the TRD because of long life. (If anything, the TRD muffler won't last as long.) The fiberglass packing tends to hold moisture and promote corrosion. (Although this will still take a couple years.)

Finding information in searches is fundamental to the efficiency of a forum. If a forum has been around for even a couple of years, there is usually ample information about the information you are looking for. Don't clutter the site with repeat questions in which everyone has to answer the same thing that's already been said. Of course it's easier to just ask a question and get a response, but it's somewhat disrespectful to the veteran members, IMO.

Almost 7 years of NY salt filled winters on my TRD and it still looks and sounds good today. So I would say to anyone who wants one go for it because it will last a long time.
