I hate my TRD RSB
Well only the problems it has caused. The first day I tried to install it the linkages on each end stripped so I had to buy new ones. NP
But the little things like the squeaking (now fixed read the last part) have annoyed me.
But Today was the big one. For a while I have had a clicking sound from the rear suspension. I thought it was a strut, that being said after taking out my entire rear interior to get to thew bolts to tighten them down none were loose. So I went to recheck the bolts on the sway bar all tight until I decided to relube it. So I started disassembling the busing holder and after that was free I found my problem it was the end link where it attaches to the sway bar. It was rattling around the bolt. So I wrapped it in a thick coating of teflon tape t take up the slack and tightened it down with a nice lock washer in place. Then I went to relube and check the other side and one of the boltsd that holds on the bushing snapped!!! So I removed the mount and drilled through it. then retapped but the hole was too screwed. So I threaded a new bolt through and added a nut on the other end and welded the nut to the bracket. Chased a tap through the whole thing and it was good to go. All assembled now and no squeaks and no clicks.
Now for the mystery lube that has worked to keep squeaking away for a LONG time. It is better than the trd stuff, silicon lube, lithium lube and any of those with Teflon tape. What is it why it is Teflon paste from home depot it works great.
Any way I will be keeping the sway bar I love the handling just hate the problems.
Thanks for listening to my rant
