I'm interested in adding some power to my 4 banger. I saw this air intake system from Bling Lights on eBay and I'm wondering if you guys think this will make a difference. Any and all comments are appreciated. Thanks.

Heck, I might as well get your thoughts on these fog lamps. I'm thinking about getting these fogs with some HIDs. What do you all think?

X2...

I wouldn't buy a product from a company named "Bling Lights"... but hey, that's just me.

If you want to get the intake that's fine, but you'll get an instant CEL. That's because there's no cutout for the MAF sensor....

Why not keep your stock lights and just throw some HID's in them? I'll bet the lights are of very poor quality.

Thanks for the input guys. But Astro, what's a CEL? Also, do you guys think that these fogs are the same as these:

Lastly, I remember seeing "Bling Lights" HIDs being sold at some performance store I went to. I figured they were a somewhat known brand...but, telling from your comments, I guess not.

Again, thanks for the input.

CEL is: Check Engine Light. the MAF sensor won't read the air and all the goodness... you'll want that. trust me.

just go with Injen or put in a nice lil K&N...

^^^ ...regarding the "Bling-Blam-Badda-BING!" brand...

To be honest, I don't know. I have no experience with them... and unless one of us HAS, you can only use your best "intuition" or other "wives tale" logic... such as... "you get what you pay for". There ARE some pretty good deals out there... and some lower cost stuff that CAN perform fine.

...that having been said... personally, I'd STILL stay away from Blam-o-ram-o-Bling-Blam named brands...

(I remember seeing "neon" lights for the "undercarriage" or something like that by a company brand called "PIMP" once. :o I hear they make the CHAIN-LINK steering wheels, too. 8) )

Good luck with your lights and intake. The CP-e is not cheap nor "quick", but definitely a QUALITY product. People have spoken well of the INJEN intake as well.

BTW, a CEL is a "Check Engine Light". You don't want any "CEL's" from a modification, or it's probably not designed correctly to work with the car.

I got more bling up my butt than that company does brains. That intake won't even fit a 4cyl, silly people.

P.S. Check your PMs :)

Mayimbe1979,

Why not get something that's made for your car on the intake, instead of trying something that will mess up your car?

I had a member call me (not gonna mention names) and asked me about an intake he bought that was made for a civic and it made his car stall. I advised him to remove the intake and buy something that's been tested for our cars.

There's a member on here, his sn is Tacti and he originally had a SRI (short ram intake) and he had a custom extension added onto to it. Perhaps you should ask him for some advice.

I'm sure most everyone here don't want you getting something that's not made for the car and something goes wrong.

As for the halo fogs, there's several members that have them, can't remember who, but if that's what you like, then go for it.

Good luck...

X3 on the NO and NO

It is possible to do a custom setup I did one using HKS parts before I got my CPE.

Just remember you get what you pay for.

Look at this feedback

Negative feedback rating NOT THE RIGHT PRODUCT FOR 2007 CAMRY. IT DOESN'T HAVE A MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR .
