Dat, how much and where is the difference? I know you said half an inch, but is it too short/long? and how about the dimension difference, does it hand higher or lower? I can try and help out by taking measurements on my car if possible, but I need a good idea as to where to start looking.

Problem found. This is going to narrow a few members. I just found out that some solara came with a more deeper emission setup then others.

This mainly APPLIES to "FEW" California residences or few other city and states. Please walk to your car and pop your hood. If you see a cat on your front header then this straight Y pipe IS NOT FOR YOU. Im sorry. I have the headers that didnt have the cat on them. Solaras with cat on them are different sized. Sorry but thats only the issue.

Please let me know if you have to take your name off the list. My car when I did my pipe was with no Cats on the header and thats why there was some confusing. Me being in Texas, My restriction arent as bad as other cities or state. Not all cars have them but DO check.

If You have a CAT on your Header, this is NOT for you. Sorry. If you or any other member buys my straight Y pipe in the end, all sales are final.

Catalytic converter aka CAT . This problem first came up with the JP headers when Ericsol was asking members to check their cars. Normal cars will always have one about in the mid-section of the car by the O2 (ogygen) sensor inline with the exhaust. Some 1MZ's were a little cleaner than others where they had 3 instead of just 1. The other 2 are hanging off each of the headers. Look right beside the oil filter, the headers should be nothing but piping all the way down into the y-pipe and out the exhaust. IF you have pre-cats (called pre-cat because its technically 1/2 the size of the main Cat) then right after the the manifold takes the 3 sections and merges them together (collector) then itll have a weird bulge before the y-pipe section. (will be the same for the rear header)
