my very sad, scary and angry car accident!! with pics!!

Postby Chococat » Sun Oct 01, 2006 6:42 pm

Hi MCO,

the car looked perfect and i guess the mechanics didnt notice that part of it. (is it just me or does everyone love to slam my door? i guess its cause solara doors are heavier than usual so people arent used to it) i called them the next day and asked if they could do anything about it but they said that it will cost extra because they would have to fix the door frame and etc. i had already wasted so much money and time on the car and i didnt think that this was worth shelling out more money (im a starving college student!!). and also im trying to save my money right now for full coverage insurance so that i will never have to be in the same situation again!!

Actually, my agent told me that, here in FL, some form of unisured motorist insurance is required. There are a lot of, ahem, uninsured motorists here...you read between the lines.

Thankfully, I have only been hit bt people that actually have insurance.

Wow, that sucks.
Since you have a picture of the front plate, and you have a friend who is a cop or what not, have them look up the plate.....
That what i did.
Good luck.
Sorry to hear about that.

you made quite a few mistakes that night

#1 you did not get any license info.. or even ask for an id.. after that moment. you should have called as you did and told them that the guy is trying to leave.. this escalates the situation to a hit and run.. with that they would take down a report, immedately send a unit, and have the license plate and driver desc. taken down. this would have saved your ass in the long run.. YOUR BAD

#2 you should have called a friend.. thats what they are for.. you were almost home. why not call home and have someone come out with u.
i always carry a weapon of sorts (tire irons come in handy along with wrenches..
#3 when he left you should have followed and reported once again hit and run and said you were hurting (this escalates any situation to an injury accident. cops HAVE TO COME

not to be mean but you really did not think clearly as you should have

ive been in three accident not my fault and made damn sure that i got any info i can.. YOU HAD A camera YET DIDNT TAKE A PICTURE OF THE DRIVER???

COMMON SENSE... USE IT PLEASE TO SAVE YOURSELF FROM BEING VICTIMIZED

Sometimes it's hard to remember to do things in situations like these. She was most likely scared because there were so many people trying to pressure her.

Wow sorry to see that BS happen to you. I feel you did exactly what you could in your own power but still got screwed over by the mere fact that the California Highway Pigtrol didn't respond quick enough. I hate that
juris-MY-DIKCTION bullish that law enforcement officials have to phukin play. I was in a confrontation on a borderline between two cities (dispatcher called it unincorporated San Bernardino county) and it took an hour for them (CHP) to come after being dispatched. Why don't the local cops from the neighboring borders collaborate and come secure the scene of a crime until the proper agency gets there THEN play hot potato to see who should take over the case. Oh CHP, no San Bernardino County Sheriffs, oh no wait, LAPD, ohhh LA sheriffs department, wait I got it, INS! You know if the CHP or any agency had a proper response time that MOTHERLOVER would've walked away in cuffs for driving w/o a license, w/o proof of insurance, property damage from illegal use of a vehicle, being undocumented, all while possibly driving while shiitfaced DUI or DWI whatever. Now he's added felony hit and run. Let God smite him. He won't get far.

#1 He DID NOT have any papers on him as she posted in her story. Try reading the thread first before you mouth off to this poor young lady. Again this was a jurisdiction and response time problem, she wrote he left after a long while which means if they arrived in a timely matter this piece of trash would be off the streets even if she still had to pay for her own repairs. They won't come any faster trust me I KNOW unless you say OFFICER FUKKIN DOWN! I'm sure they knew she was a female victim so saying you're a woman in distress at 1 in the morning still won't help.

#2 What happens if you're a loner with no friends and her mom and dad are in Vegas or some ish. You don't know what her situation was that night. What if her friends were there so what, he wouldve still ran. ANd I bet he'd run over people just to leave. You AlWAYS carry a weapon? ok maybe she can't swing a tire iron if her life depended on it. That would just get that guy mad!

#3 So this distraught young lady is gonna go boom bang boom and turn into a godforsaken X-man (or X-Woman) in hot pursuit of this mother while talkin on the phone with cops who shouldve been there an hour ago. This escalates this situation into a dangerous one for the driver/victim. Letting him run while youre still in one piece isnt the end of the world.

You've been in 3 accidents good for you. You got the experience. You can swing a tire iron. Okay. Sorry tough guy. She did not have the experience. It's late shes alone and nervous or whatever. She can't think. I bet she was scared shiitless taht this mofo might even assault her or worse. So she's gonna go take a pic of him. Yeah guy. Even if she did, what difference would it make the cops don't care. If he's undocumented that picture becomes worthless. A picture even with a plate and they still can't catch the owner. They can't catch a phukin cold. You need to stop talkin ish about her ok. She's a victim. If this was your mom aunt, wife, daughter whatever would you be talking down to her like shes an idiot after something like this?

you know what FUKK YOU. YOU ARE THE BIGGEST DUMB A$$ !! READ MY SH.IT AND THE WHOLE THREAD BEFORE YOU POST IDIOT! ANONYMOUSE WAS CORRECT IN EVERYTHING HE SAID.
he WAS RIGHT ABOUT MY WHOLE SITUATION.. down to every single detail. SHOWS HOW STUPID YOU ARE SINCE HE IS A "NOOB" AND UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING THAT I WROTE WHILE YOU HAVE ALREADY POSTED A FRIGGIN 3000 + AND YOU STILL CANT UNDERSTAND WHAT WENT DOWN THAT NIGHT! DONT GET MAD AT ANONYMOUSE JUST BECAUSE HE SHUT YOU UP AND PUT YOU IN YOUR PLACE.

anyways to repond to your stupid pointless pulled right of your a$$ post, I CANT FORCE SOMEONE TO GIVE ME THEIR ID IF THEY SAID THEY DONT HAVE IT. knowing how SMART you are you'd probably advise me to beat it out of him? and 2nd of all, i called the cops twice. once initially to ask for assistance, and 2nd to ask wtf took so long. the 2nd time i did emphasize the point that i was scared because he seemed to be getting angry with me. cops dont give a fukk and they gave me bs about city limits and shi.t. the whole cop situation was also beyond my control. AND I DID HAVE HIS LICENSE WRITTEN DOWN WITH A GOD.DAMN PIC OF HIS CAR. HOW IS A PICTURE OF THE GUY GOING TO HELP?? if a plate and the make of his vehicle didnt so sh.it.. you think a picture of the guy would?? the cops got the location of where the car came from and they still couldnt find him.. you think that a picture would SOLVE EVERYTHING AND THAT THEY WOULD FIND HIM IN AN INSTANT?? OR WHAT.. DID YOU THINK THEY WERE GONNA POST HIS PICTURE ON AMERICA'S MOST WANTED??

2ND OF ALL.. i just moved to this area which is 30 miles away from where all of my friends live. WHY SHOULD I CALL THEM WHEN I THOUGHT THAT THE COPS WERE GOING TO COME IN 10 MINUTES. hey!! lets call my friends so they can take a 30 mile drive because this guy is OBVIOUSLY going to run and the cops are OBVIOUSLY not giong to be here for another 45 minutes. HOW THE HELL WAS I SUPPOSE TO KNOW THAT IT WAS GOING TO GO DOWN LIKE THAT?? and then what?? they come and we all stand around and watch the guy?

3RD OF ALL.. im not going to follow some INTOXICATED, UNDOCUMENTED MAN down the street. what good would that do?? after i catch up to him what do i say? STOP RUNNING PLEASE!! I NEED YOU STAY WITH ME UNTIL LA POLICIA COMES!!

not to be mean.. but youre just fukkin stupid and the biggest a$$hole.
i was a victim and here you are talking sh.it about how i messed up.

I believe its the police departments fault. It has nothing to do with beating the crap out of him etc. The cops clearly took to long and because the guy was probably illegal he was getting really nervous so he took off. You did the right thing by not confronting him because you never know what he might have done. Thats how i see it. Good luck anyways hope the cops catch that bastard.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE... don't drag me into this!!!! "You all have points to be considered... " I just wanted to set the point straight about SS numbers.

You don't have to be a U.S. citizen to be issued a Social Security number.

(I'm not making ANY other points, now.... so DON't GET MAD!)

Chocokitty... really sorry about your misfortune. I had a guy ram me from behind (my project SUPRA, no less!!!) in a construction zone... and we were slowing, accelerating... slowing, accelerating.... etc... outside of Indianapolis.... and then I was way ahead of the guy... and suddenly everyone was stopped. I could see him WAY back there coming up on me... and the closer he got, the more I began to suspect.... then WHAM!!! I just had enough sense to lift off the brake in time to let my car lurch forward and absorb some of the impact. I managed to collect about 8 G's for the hit, however.... and paid my late taxes with it. LOL!)

She never trusted him that's why the cops were dispatched, if she did trust him they would've agreed to meet at Starbuck's tomorrow morning to discuss what is owed to who and call it a night am I right again guy?

You're a sexist to think I defended her just because she's female (not 'its a female..') These emotions of fear, nervousness, or being distraught under stress of a situation can occur in males too and affect critical thinking. Even a law enforcement officer trained particularly to handle certain incidents could break down and lose focus during confrontations especially at night.

You want to insult me by callin me a noob because I only have 5 posts. Well I would be embarassed too if I had more than 3,000 posts like you and still get schooled by a 'noob'. You admit that I was right about her senses (big surprise) and you do know someone who unfortunately met the same incident, your own girlfriend or wife (another big surprise). You probably verbally (and perhaps physically) abused her. Is that why she's your ex now huh tough guy?
