Help on T/B spacer install **Installed**

Well I bought "StockSolara" T/B spacer, that Greg posted for us.
I've talked to "Midias" and "StockSolara" and "DatsRboi" and some local friends.
I've tried what they've said, but wit no luck. :(
I'm doin' it myself.
I've vice grips and had them on there really tight too, they just slip.
I tried the 2 nut method, and all you can get is 1 nut, and the second one will slip right off, cause there isn't enough room for it to hold on.
Tried 1 nut, and then vice grip right behind it, and still slips....
Don't want to mess up anythin', cause i have to drive my car everyday.
Image
It the 2 bolt studs on the bottom of the t/b.
Sorry for the bad picture.....
But when you look at it, all you see is threads.
If you still don't know what i'm talkin' about, they look like head studs.
Image
This waht they look like.
Any help asap would be helpful.
Thanks.

Are you turning the right way :o
Mine came out easy with channel locks

Try some penetrating lube, or heat then back out with vice grips. Consider welding a nut to the end and using a socket wrench.

If it helps the studs go all the way through so if you need to drill and tap just go all the way. SO... Now if you super desperate you can cut them off drill a hole insert a stud extractor and turn. Or grind them flat and use a crescent wrench.

without a fuss. Spray lube behind them as well to help work it in then tap them a but to break up any corrosion and help the lube penetrate. heat will help to just not a map torch that will probably be too hot.

My channel locks looked like these. Regular craftsman brand.

Should be more torque in the mid-range of the RPM.

**UPDATE**

I used some parrot beak pliers as my friend suggested.
And wow, he was right.
Those pliers gripped on to the bolt stud.
And came off real easy.
But there is a bit of a tight pull on the T/B sensor on the bottom.
Will have to figure out how to extend the wires....

When you do the ACIS mod you will feel torque hit about 4000 RPM's.
Which will kind-of feel slow cause.... it hard to explain.
But last night when i was drivin' to diff locations for the street races, the torque would hit about 2000 RPM's. :D
I love when the torque would hit about 2000 RPM's, i kept on hittin' the gas a little to have the torque pull, which was fun. :D
I'm happy for now.
Now movin' on the the rest of the suspension mods. :D

Glad you felt the difference for such a cheap and effective mod. Do you have the ACIS mod right now because I am curious to know if it would be any different with or without the tb spacer. I know a lot of people said it felt like it had no tq with the mod.
