Well only the problems it has caused. The first day I tried to install it the linkages on each end stripped so I had to buy new ones. NP
But the little things like the squeaking (now fixed read the last part) have annoyed me.

But Today was the big one. For a while I have had a clicking sound from the rear suspension. I thought it was a strut, that being said after taking out my entire rear interior to get to thew bolts to tighten them down none were loose. So I went to recheck the bolts on the sway bar all tight until I decided to relube it. So I started disassembling the busing holder and after that was free I found my problem it was the end link where it attaches to the sway bar. It was rattling around the bolt. So I wrapped it in a thick coating of teflon tape t take up the slack and tightened it down with a nice lock washer in place. Then I went to relube and check the other side and one of the boltsd that holds on the bushing snapped!!! So I removed the mount and drilled through it. then retapped but the hole was too screwed. So I threaded a new bolt through and added a nut on the other end and welded the nut to the bracket. Chased a tap through the whole thing and it was good to go. All assembled now and no squeaks and no clicks.

Now for the mystery lube that has worked to keep squeaking away for a LONG time. It is better than the trd stuff, silicon lube, lithium lube and any of those with Teflon tape. What is it why it is Teflon paste from home depot it works great. :)

Any way I will be keeping the sway bar I love the handling just hate the problems.

Thanks for listening to my rant

Ha, welcome to NY! I had all those same problems. I snapped one of the bolts that holds the bushings on on both sides so I needed to buy two new plates that the bushing retainers screw into. That was around $30 a piece. Plus when I put my struts in, I needed four new stabilizer pins because they were all rusted out and all got stripped. Those stabilizer pins have to be the worst designed parts on the car because mine are already rusting again after like three months of summer!

So you swear by the Teflon paste huh. Any brand in particular? I'm going to Home Depot to buy some tomorrow.

I used the lube that came with the swaybar on my car once and it never squeaked. Maybe I need my hearing evaluated.......... :drinking: :bday:

Anyway, how much do those teflon lube cost?

Try packing the hex hole on the stabilizer linkage with a moly lube or any thick lube that will stay in place. Then check periodically, when doing maintenance.
Then when you have to take them apart again, be sure to use PB Blaster.
It's a rust inhibitor and makes them come apart easier.
Got Boost?? :sweet:

Yea I actually bought better links from advance auto parts they use a 18mm hex nut behind them to tighten and loosen. It has to be a thin 18mm so I got a cheapie and ground it thinner. Also I am glad I was able to fix that plate instead of buying a new one

The stuff I got a a home depot is called rotoseal or something like that it is for sealing pipes and is near the Teflon tape.

Too late, cars dropped off. I went to Home Depot after work though and didn't know what the hell I was looking for lol. I guess if it starts squeaking I can relube it once I upgrade the suspension.

You guys need to hit up a local pedal bike shop and get some of their lubricant... It will not ever squeak. A lot of the MK II Supra guys run it on their sway bars.

The other thing you can do is get the yellow plumbers tape from say Depot... Wrap a few wraps of that around the sway bar and bam no squeaking.
