the dreaded P0135 code....yeah, i have that same one and haven't really fixed it yet. the car will run fine, the A/F will be a little richer than usual (the car is stuck in a 'warm-up loop', or safe-mode), but there shouldn't be any noticable effects other than a decrease in gas milage. don't push your car too hard when you have this (or any) code lit up.
you should get it checked out and fixed as soon as you can still, i'm just letting you know it's been a while w/ me having that code w/ no noticeable negative effects (there still may be some long term effects though)
have fun 'taking it out and cleaning it'....p0135 is bank1 sensor1, which is located between the engine and the firewall, towards the bottom of the car, before the cat. it's not the easily accessable one that's near the radiator.
also, if you end up buying a new sensor, make sure you have the right one. it makes a difference if your lara is cali-spec or not (if it has pre-cats). also, i'd stay away from generic brand parts (i.e. bosch), as i've HEARD that our cars are pretty particular about the brand of O2 sensor used. note that i said i heard, since i mentioned above that i havent fixed this code on my ride yet.
good luck
