Need advice on amp config.

I'm putting together a modest system for my 99 SLE and I need some advice on how I should configure the amps. The two amps I'm working with are an AutoTek Stealth Series 300.S and 500.S. The 300.S is 50x2 RMS at 4ohms and the 500.S is 150x2 RMS at 4ohms. I'll be running Infinity Perfect 6.1 components up front, 6.5" woofers and crossovers from a PPI Studio Driver component set for rear fill, and a single Infinity Perfect 10.1d 10" DVC sub. The way I look at it, I have two options:

1. fronts - 50x2 at 4ohms
rear fill - head unit
sub - 150x2 at 2ohms bridged (about 800W)

2. fronts - 150x2 at 4ohms
rear fill - head unit
sub - 50x2 at 2ohms bridged (about 350W)

The Perfect 6.1's are rated at 200W RMS (400W peak) and the Perfect 10.1d are rated at 350W RMS (1400W peak). If I choose option one, I'm afraid that the sub will overpower the fronts. If I choose option two, the opposite could happen. FYI, the sub will be in the rear corner of the trunk and the fronts will be in the stock location.

Option one will be your best best. I dont think 1 sub is gonna overpower the fronts. 50 watts is fairly loud. The perfects have a pretty wild tweeter on it, so I would keep an eye on that before you set the crossover where you want it. It does have a -3db terminal on the tweeter crossover right??

I have 4X50 for my full range speakers. 50 watts on all 4 corners and then 600W each on both of my Kicker L7's. The fullrange speakers seem to keep up fairly well. I could probably use little more power on the fullrange but for now it works fine. I am sure yours will to...

Yes, according to Crutchfield the crossovers have -4, 0, and +5db settings for the tweeters. Most people say the tweeters that come with the set are too harsh, but some people have no problem with them.

I'll probably go with option 1, as you suggested. I don't think one 10" sub could overpower my fronts, especially considering it'll be in the back corner of the trunk. I'd like to switch the 50x2 for a 50x4 (or 75x4), but I would want it to match my 150x2. Unfortunately, both of them are '99 models and hard to find these days.

I would definitely go w/ option one if I were you. You will never find a use for 150wrms on a pair of speakers, no matter what they are rated. The rating of the speakers is what they can handle before they blow, the point where they start distorting is much lower. And I'm sure even w/ 150wrms on your 10, you will start to want more bass eventually, it happens to everyone.
Nascar would be a sport if half the cars were driving the other direction.
